The Medic's Guide Book

For Website Users:

1. MedicsTravel is unable to accept any responsibility as to the accuracy of names, addresses or details for any of the institutions/organisations that are featured on the MedicsTravel website. Places change from good to bad and bad to good. Institutions merge and split. We gratefully appreciate any corrections. Please submit them here

2. MedicsTravel can not accept any responsibility for the content of websites to which we provide hyperlinks

3. MedicsTravel advertises other organisations in good faith. We can not accept responsibility for their business

4. We provide a free discussion forum. We always try to keep this appropriate but are unable to be held responsible if it is abused

5. We provide a free CV submission service and jobs database. We DO NOT carry out any vetting procedures or checks on either the applicants, recruitment agencies or hospitals. It is up to the recruiting organisation/hospital to confirm the qualifications and character of any applicant. Equally, it is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure the integrity of any organisation arranging work or electives

6. We do not pass on any Members information, however we can not be responsible if malicious access to the site results in Members information being accessed.

For those Advertising with MedicsTravel:

1. MedicsTravel provides banner adverts, text with links and logos and plain text listings. The cost for these are listed under "Advertise with us". Medics Travel will place the advert as requested as quickly as possible but please allow up to 28 days. If the advertiser wishes to have their advert removed, please e-mail advertise@medicstravel.com. Please allow 28 days for removal. No refunds will be made on money already paid for the advert

2. The advertiser can change the advert as they wish for the first 14 days after it has been placed. Medics Travel will try to make changes as requested subsequent to this, but under no obligation to do so. Repeated changes to adverts will be charged.

3. MedicsTravel can not accept responsibility if the server is not functioning and hence the site goes offline.

Medics Travel is for doctors, nurses, medical/nursing students and other health professionals wanting to plan work and electives with hospitals,  NGOs and charities overseas. It also lists government and recruitment agencies and has updates for the ultimate guide - The Medics Guide to Work and Electives Around the World - good luck in your travels...and please update this site when you come back!!!
