The Medic's Guide Book

There are two forms of cover you require when working overseas. 

Firstly you need Travel Insurance to cover your own health, your belongs, flights etc. Medics Travel recommends the cover provided by the Medical Sickness Society as it covers you for needlestick injuries and for failing exams! Secondly you need Indemnity Cover while working overseas. This covers you for any mishaps that may affect patients you treat. You're probably a member of an organisation already (such as the Medical Protection Society). Contact them for more information and to make sure they cover you in your destination.
