King Edward (VII)Memorial Hospital (KEMH), Stanley, Falkland Islands, South Atlantic. Tel: +500 27328 Fax: 27416 KEMH is a small (28 bed) hospital that caters for the 2000 civilians and 2000 military personnel that live on the Falkland Islands. It is run by four GPs and a military field surgical team (one surgeon and one anaesthetist) providing GP, A&E, medical inpatient, emergency and some elective surgery services. Despite its size it can get quite busy, especially when there are visiting Antarctic cruise ships and fishermen.
